Michael Alfano
"Of Many Minds" is a 20 sculpture exhibit by artist Michael Alfano. The installation represents and highlights Alfano’s long standing passion to celebrate our differences through his art and includes sculptures spanning many years of his work, as well as new sculptures created specifically for this exhibit.
The sculptures are created in the human form and each sculpture is paired with a quote by leaders including Albert Einstein, Amanda Gorman and M.L.K. Jr..
Alfano states: “Of Many Minds invites you to foster curiosity and wonder. While the sculptures express my vision as the artist, each of you develops your own interpretations, expanding that vision and creating something larger.”
The sculptures are easy to view and access as they are located along the Boston Harborwalk from Pier 1 and the Boston National Historical Park/Boston Navy Yard entrance to Pier 11 and Mayor Thomas Menino Park and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
